I'm not sure if I will stick with this whole blogging thing. I have quite a few friends who do it and I love to keep up with what they are doing. I thought I'd give it a shot. We'll see how it goes.
Jarom and I just returned home from Zambia, Africa. What a trip! This picture puts it in a nutshell. It was dirty, exhausting, hard, fun, and just about every other adjective I can think of. We learned so much. We learned about ourselves, about each other, about life, and about our Heavenly Father. It was an amazing experience and we wish we were still there. We are still trying to adjust to life here at home. We definitely don't look at anything the same way again. Something as simple as turning on my kitchen faucet almost brings me to tears. We don't feel like doing much of anything at the moment. We have been incredibly lazy for the past 4 days. We needed a break and it's been good to process some things during this time. I'm sure we will slowly get back into the swing of things.
We are glad to be home and look forward to sharing all of our stories and pictures with all of you.
