Our life was falling into place perfectly. We got home from Africa and found a house that we love. It hasn't even been built yet and it is in our price range. It is for low income families and we are in the process of qualifying for it. It is a beautiful 2 story home with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, big walk-in closets, gorgeous kitchen, and lots of options. We would get to pick out our own carpet and paint and things. It seems too good to be true. Jarom is excited to go back and teach his kids and I'm currently looking for a job as a CNA.
Of course things falling into place isn't what we are used to. We are used to crazy decesions and the unknown.
The day after they called to tell me I'd been accepted to nursing school we got an email from Dan Nethercott. We met Dan while we were in Zambia. He came with his family to learn from Kathy's program. He has his own project with some partners in Ghana. It is a farm project that supports about 5,000 people. Dan is a wonderful man. He is so funny and kind. He also has a lot, and I mean a lot, of money.
In his email he asked us if we were interested in living in Ghana for a year and managing the farm. This turned our world upside down. Everything that was going right and that we were planning were now in question.
We have been praying and fasting and trying to figure out what to do. There are many pro's and con's to both. Jarom is leaning towards Ghana I think. I still have no clue.
We want to do what Heavenly Father wants us to do. We are trying so hard to figure out what that is.
We are meeting with some of Dan's partners, the Bussio's, on Friday. Hopefully they can give us some insight into what we should do.
If anyone has any advice that would be fantastic. What should we do? AHHHHH!!!
