Photo Shoot

A good friend of mine has a sister who does photography as a hobby. She offered to take some newborn pictures of Marlie for free. I am so grateful! She did such a wonderful job at capturing Marlie's sweet spirit in these photographs. I will forever treasure them. Thank you so much Kati!!! Also, thanks Nicki for the sweet hook up and introducing me to your awesome sister.

Marlie is doing really well. She will be 4 weeks old tomorrow. These last 4 weeks have been a blur and have flown by. She has had some trouble gaining weight due to her weak suck. She is finally past her birth weight with the help of a bottle. We're hoping she continues to gain weight and hoping she will go back to nursing. We'll see.

Marlie's cardiology appointment is on Thursday and we are praying for good news. She is doing so well in everything else and we are crossing our fingers her heart is doing just as well. The pediatrician is very pleased with how well she is doing. Please keep her in your prayers this week.

We feel so blessed to have Marlie as a part of our family. She brings angels into our home daily. She has already brought so much love and life to our family. I fall in love with her more every day.

I'm back in school now, so that means one of two things. Either I won't post at all because I am so swamped with school work, or I'll post rather frequently becuase I am procrastinating all my school work. We'll see.
