2 Years

My baby turned 2. My baby is not a baby anymore. I officially have a toddler now. We have reached the age where when people ask how old your kid is you have to answer in years, not months. I can't remember what life was like without my beautiful girl. She has brought so much joy and zest into our lives. I fall in love with her more and more everyday. I wish I could put into words the emotions I feel as I remember back on these last 2 years. So I will just let my joy be expressed through these pictures. Marlie's face sums it all up nicely. 

Marlie thoroughly enjoyed opening her presents. 

She was so excited about everything she opened and wanted to show everyone.

 We had a bubble party complete with:

Dry ice to make bubbles in our punch, 

Grapes (Marlie's favorite, plus they kinda look like bubbles right?)

What we called "pizza bubbles"

Bubble wrap place mats

I bought a bubble gun to shoot out of the middle of the cake but Marlie and Jax found it before hand and just had to play with it. By the time we got around to cake, it was out of batteries. Oh well!

Celebrating in St George really made us hungry for spring. The grass is green and the blossoms are out. I can't wait until we can spend more time out doors at home. Spring and summer can't come soon enough!
